Welcome! This year, Confluence will be having a joint conference with the Worship and Music Conference.
“Worship Educationally ~ Educate Worshipfully”
is the theme for the 2012 Korean Worship and Music Conference. To celebrate the third and final year of the Confluence educational research project for Asian American congregations, this year the Worship Conference and Confluence Project are holding their conference together. This conference will explore the educational significance of Christian worship experience, as well as how teachers’ spirituality is nurtured in worshipful hearts and minds during educational experiences. Read more. The aim is to accentuate the inherent meanings of “confluence” –the merging of two or more bodies of water into a single unified stream. We will look at how the integrative nature between the educational potency of worship and the worshipful spirituality of teachers can be reclaimed and restored among leaders of Asian American churches. Through three keynote presentations, three practical seminars, and four inspirational worships led by worship planning teams, participants will discover creative and meaningful ways to engage in ministry in which worship can be transformative and educational, and education can be an extension of worship. Conference sessions are offered in both Korean and English.
